IN 2015 – OSSEOINTEGRATION, 50 Years. Less is More.
The Osseointegration was discovered by chance in 1956 by the Swedish orthopedic surgeon Per-Ingvar Brånemark, during a rabbits´ blood flow study. At the time, the doctor realized that the titanium chambers used in the experiment were attached to the animals studied tibias and thus, decided to delve into the subject. The analysis and the study of this phenomenon have become possible to use the technique in humans, for the first time, in 1965.
In 2015 this surgical process, responsible for transforming the course of Dentistry, celebrates 50 years. The date was remembered in style during the days 30 September and 03 October in "Osseointegration 50 Years Less is more." During IN 2015 - Latin American Osseointegration Congress, at the Anhembi Convention Center in Sao Paulo.
As usual, DENTFLEX attended the event and took the opportunity to present to the public the DENTFLEX Micro Saws, developed for release on the occasion and extend the DENTFLEX Implant and Surgery line. Once again the company has earned a major event in dentistry to enter a new product on the market.
It is with great pleasure and respect that Dentflex and its entire team thanks all its clients and friends who attended at the IN 2015 event, as well as, the Micro Saw launch on the company's stand.
